About Us
Connections Without Barriers Foundation is a newly launched nonprofit in the heart of Fallbrook, California. Our mission is simple but urgent: to provide high-quality, low-cost and when needed, free therapy services to kids, teens, adults, elders, veterans, and families who might otherwise go without care.
Why Now?
Because the mental health crisis is here—and growing.
California recently cut over $1 billion in mental health funding for schools. That means thousands of students—our students—are now left without access to the emotional and psychological support they need to succeed.
But it’s not just students.
We receive calls every week from veterans and their families in distress. Since TriWest took over the TRICARE West Region, therapists across the state have gone unpaid for months. Many have been forced to stop accepting TRICARE altogether. Now, those who bravely served in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan are being left behind without access to the care they earned.
Here in Fallbrook, we see the pain firsthand. Parents are overwhelmed. Children are hurting. Veterans are struggling. Families are doing everything they can, but they’re stretched beyond their limits. We’re here to change that.
Our Commitment
We’re building a space where no one is turned away because of finances. A place where families can heal, kids can thrive, and those who’ve served can find the support they need and deserve.
But we can’t do it alone.
