Connections Without Barriers
What are we about?
Accessible Therapy for Everyone
Connections Without Barriers Foundation is a California-based nonprofit committed to expanding access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care. Founded by therapist Kelly Wilson MA, LCSW, the foundation serves active duty military, veterans, individuals, families, and their loved ones who struggle to access timely and affordable mental health services. Through sliding-scale counseling, therapy, intern-led programs, and community outreach, Connections Without Barriers Foundation helps remove financial, systemic, and cultural barriers that prevent people from receiving support. The foundation places special emphasis on supporting veterans and active service members, recognizing the unique mental health challenges they face, including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and reintegration stress. With a focus on trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, and whole-family wellness, the foundation works to ensure that healing is equitable, accessible, and never out of reach for all populations, especially those who have served our country. By removing barriers, the organization empowers veterans, their families, and communities to heal, thrive, and build resilience. At it's core, Connections Without Barriers Foundation believes that when mental health care is accessible to all, people and communities have the opportunity to truly heal and thrive.
Connections Without Barriers Foundation is a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit
